Infinito and Parenthesis by Caleido: design signs in the service of expressive freedom

Caleido has been putting design, quality, and respect for the ecosystem at the forefront of its product development for over thirty years. The company, founded by Danilo Rossetti and his brothers in the province of Brescia, was among the first to conduct detailed aesthetic research when the world of design did not yet care about the appearance of radiators and towel warmers. Over the years, the Caleido catalogue has welcomed several collections that have become iconic, born from the collaboration with great international designers such as Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Marco Piva, Jean-Michel Wilmotte and many others.

For Caleido, creating a designer radiator means giving the designer ample freedom of ideas, starting with a ‘pencil sketch’ and developing it into the creation of the radiator in all its components. Among the latest additions to the Caleido range are Infinito and Parenthesis, two collections created by Architect and Designer Marco Piva. Infinito transforms the heating object into a project of essential, multiform, archetypal geometries in continuous dialogue with the interior: a line, a curve, a T, like signs of an architectural alphabet, open the horizons of a design with unlimited combinations. Infinito is a concept, an original way of creating relationships: between architecture and design, between warmth and material, between verticality and horizontality, where the elegance of minimal architecture meets functional efficiency at the service of design.

Modularity and freedom of expression also animate the Parenthesis collection, capable of dialoguing with the environment and harmoniously integrating into the contemporary living scenario. Made with extruded aluminium profiles, it combines functionality, design and aesthetics. The modular design allows the object to be calibrated in the space, presenting itself on the wall either as a single piece or with the combination of several components, allowing the possibility of obtaining customised layouts and formats according to needs and tastes.
