GEWISS has chosen Light+Building, the leading international trade fair dedicated to lighting and technologies for the building automation sector, for the official debut of GEWISS LightZone, the new lighting hub that combines the expertise of BEGHELLI, PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING and TVILIGHT in a cohesive ecosystem that enhances and emphasises the individual identities and specificities of each brand.
GEWISS LightZone brings a new network to life, a space where technology, design, sustainability, safety and connectivity take centre stage.
The presentation in Frankfurt marks a key moment in the development of Gewiss’ lighting division, which began in 2023 with the acquisition of PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING, a multinational company specialising in professional lighting, and expanded in 2024 with the acquisition of TVILIGHT, a benchmark on the international market in connectivity and IoT solutions for outdoor lighting management in cities, and reached a further strategic phase in 2025 with the entry of BEGHELLI, an international company present on several continents and a leader in the emergency lighting, industrial lighting and consumer lighting sectors.
‘GEWISS LightZone,’ explains Paolo Cervini, CEO of POLIFIN, GEWISS and COSTIM RE, “represents a strategic step in the evolution of our Group and reinforces our industrial vision: with this project, we are shaping an integrated ecosystem that enhances skills, technologies and experience throughout the entire lighting supply chain. In the coming years, lighting will increasingly become a smart and connected infrastructure, integrated with automation, energy management, electric mobility and digital platforms, which will be on display at our three stands at L+B 2026. GEWISS LightZone is the first step in interpreting this transformation of the group through scalable, interoperable and high-tech solutions. Our ambition remains to consolidate a competitive industrial model, focused on digitalisation and sustainability, capable of generating value for the markets in which we operate, through our entire portfolio of products and integrated solutions”.
“With Gewiss LightZone, we are strengthening the Group’s position as an international hub of reference for lighting. This project stems from the desire to build a solid, integrated and future-oriented industrial ecosystem, capable of bringing together complementary skills, technologies and know-how. A new structure that aims to maximise synergies to support the market with connected, sustainable and high-tech solutions, responding ever more effectively to the needs of our stakeholders. A structure designed to support sustainable growth and create long-term value, while maintaining the strength of GEWISS’s identity,” said Alfonso D’Andretta, CEO of BEGHELLI and PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING.
At Light+Building 2026, the identity of GEWISS LightZone takes shape through an experiential Urban Hub, a space designed to express the group’s expertise in an immersive and interactive urban environment.
