Geometries, reflections and craftsmanship by Friul Mosaic

Completed between 2023 and 2024, the project entrusted to Friul Mosaic represents a successful dialogue between craftsmanship and technical innovation. The company has created a bespoke project inside a private villa that blends decorative elegance and design precision, giving life to a series of rooms in which refined glass mosaics and geometric patterned flooring create a coherent visual narrative. The challenge was to create immersive spaces that seamlessly combine beauty and functionality, and this goal was achieved through the skilful use of mosaics obtained from a calibrated combination of marble and glass processed with waterjet technology.

The pool area is a luminous oasis, entirely enveloped by mosaic surfaces covering the outdoor flooring, vertical walls and pool, amplifying the reflections of the water and transforming the space into a place of tranquillity and brilliance. In the bathrooms, the design takes on a more intimate tone thanks to delicate floral decorations that introduce a stylised natural element. Two large artistic panels, one dedicated to the figure of a peacock and the other to a composition of exotic birds, enrich the massage room and shower area respectively, bringing a poetic and scenic touch to everyday life. The choice of materials reveals the identity of Friul Mosaic: precious glass, glass inserts with gold leaf and marble interact in vibrant surfaces, capable of modulating light and creating iridescent atmospheres.

The hammam stands out for its mosaic with shaded tones, built on a geometric design that generates depth and brightness, while the artistic panels, each measuring approximately six square metres, are made entirely of glass to enhance every reflection and micro-detail. The aesthetic and material journey is completed by geometric flooring in marble and water-jet cut glass, a refined balance that defines the entire project as an example of the integration of art, technique and design.
