Gems is the name of the collection of single-material glass creations designed for Penta by Francesca Lanzavecchia. The lamps that make up the family confirm the company’s know-how, based on technological research and formal innovation. The lighting system, in fact, consists of six elements that can be combined with each other: three lampshades of increasing diameters fitted on a luminous body equipped with a sphere and a tube.
The various combinations, potentially infinite, are selected and curated directly by the designer, creating precious patterns with delicate iridescences and iridescent glows, diffused thanks to a kaleidoscope of soft and muted colours that immerse the environment in suggestive atmospheres. An interlocking game resolved in a technical manner that is at once articulate and simple, like precious pearls delicately strung along a necklace of light with soft transparencies that, together with the heterogeneous textures of the finishes, shape a marvellous prism of optical effects.
