The multidisciplinary interior design studio DAAA Haus has completed a commercial project entitled Fuwamai in the heart of the Saint Julian’s district in Malta.
Located in a bustling urban setting, the shop’s compact interior is planned to ensure that every inch is utilized for efficient kitchen operations, visible to passersby to emphasize transparency and freshness in food preparation.
Fuwamai consists of an 18-square-meter interior, maximizing space for an industrial kitchen designed to serve both function and aesthetics.
The exterior facade is fully clad in stainless steel, mirroring the industrial kitchen’s technical aesthetic, creating a seamless visual flow from the interior to the street. This sleek, modern look is accentuated by a large, illuminated light box which spans the facade, casting a subtle glow across the stainless steel finish.
The interior remains fully visible from the street, emphasizing an open and inviting atmosphere that underscores the shop’s commitment to transparency and high-quality products being served through the shop window.
