From 17 to 21 October 2025, HostMilano will be back at Fiera Milano with a new edition that once again promises to be a global reference point for professional hospitality, away-from-home and food retail. But Host is much more than a trade fair: it is a true ecosystem where the world of design and business meet to shape new hospitality scenarios. An event capable of attracting architects, interior designers, planners and international brands, offering a complete and up-to-date vision of the future of hospitality.
In this edition, HostMilano presents itself as a platform where the transformations taking place in the sector are reflected in a rich exhibition offer, capable of narrating a rapidly evolving world. Aesthetics meets performance, wellness integrates with technology, and every space – from the room to the lobby, from rooftops to multifunctional hybrid spaces – becomes fertile ground for increasingly daring design experiments. Contract design thus becomes a sensorial and cultural experience, in which materials, solutions and atmospheres are designed to generate emotions and comfort.
In this context, the Furniture-Technology area will be the beating heart of innovation. Companies will present proposals ranging from laser-cut metals with customised patterns to next-generation bio-based surfaces, from modular furnishings in recycled materials to integrated touchless technologies, and emotional lighting and regenerative design elements. It is the place where tomorrow’s hospitality environments are designed: hotels, resorts, restaurants, spas and collective spaces that must be increasingly flexible, sustainable and narrative.
One of the most eagerly awaited moments of the event will be the seventh edition of the Smart Label – Host Innovation Award, the prize conceived by HostMilano and Fiera Milano together with POLI.design, under the patronage of ADI – the Industrial Design Association. More than a competition, it is a privileged observatory on innovation, capable of intercepting and enhancing those solutions that best represent the direction of the sector. There are three categories in the competition: Smart Label, Innovation Smart Label and Green Smart Label, dedicated respectively to distinctive solutions, radical innovations and projects focused on sustainability. The call for applications, reserved for exhibiting companies, is open until 30 May 2025 and represents a unique opportunity to tell the future through design.
Alongside the exhibition, Host will also propose an articulated schedule of Design Talks, moments of in-depth discussion involving experts, designers and companies on topical issues. They will discuss wellness and hospitality, new formats for food and retail, environmental and social sustainability, new housing needs, hybridisation between digital and physical, and of course the all-Italian ability to combine traditional craftsmanship and contemporary vision.
With more than 1,600 exhibitors expected, 44% of whom from over 50 countries, HostMilano confirms itself as an international and transversal event, where business meets design and creativity becomes competitive value.
