The System One pivot hinge is the new proposal from FritsJurgens, an international manufacturer of innovative pivot hinge systems for architectural applications. This solution is the natural evolution of a product already present in the FritsJurgens catalogue which, thanks to its new thickness of only 18 mm and its perfect combination with the Reversed top hinges, can be used with ultra-thin frames and profiles without in any way affecting strength and performance.
System One’s new design therefore lends itself to infinite design solutions, allowing architects, designers and door manufacturers to reach new levels of creative expression and overcome what, until yesterday, might have seemed like objective dimensional limits for frame structures.
System One is available in two versions that differ in two different pivot points of 40 mm and a minimum of 70 mm from the end of the door to the centre depending on the top hinge to be used.
System One, like the previous hinge model, has a maximum load-bearing capacity of five hundred kilograms and can be used for the same type of solutions as the previous version, but, thanks to the current thicknesses, its field of action is extended to all those market segments that had not yet been able to take advantage of the Dutch company’s innovative solutions, such as, for example, the field of minimal profiles in ferrous and non-ferrous materials, where, with the old system, there were problems of bulk.

Completing the system is a new floor plate – in brushed AISI 316 stainless steel – with a reduced thickness that allows for a gap between door and floor of only 11 mm.
