Panzeri presents HILOW, the lighting system designed by Matteo Thun & Partners that combines lightness of design with total freedom of composition.
Essential linear LED modules intertwine to form landscapes of light that adapt to spaces and light up their surfaces: designed by Matteo Thun & Partners, Hilow is a freely composable suspension lighting system that allows horizontal installations composed of a few elements as well as entire “clouds” of light spaced out and positioned at different heights. Hilow can also be combined with other vertical elements from the To-Be range for three-dimensional configurations. The Hilow’s unique feature is that the LED bars can be oriented upwards or downwards, modulating the direct and indirect light beam as desired.
Careful and invisible details, such as the turned brass and die-cast aluminium joint or the profile end caps that allow 180° rotation for installation on both faces, enhance the light profile and essential design. Available in a variety of finishes, Hilow can be combined with an anthracite screen for a dramatic effect even when switched off, when the lighting system becomes an architectural installation.
The apparent simplicity of its forms conceals a great conceptual complexity, leaving the designer free to imagine its application in the most diverse contexts. Conceived in particular to respond to the multiple needs of the contract sector, it is suitable for furnishing environments ranging from large spaces such as hotel lobbies to smaller office and retail spaces, but it can also transform the living room of a home or characterise the atmosphere of a loft with personality.
