Fantini expands its Wellness Ritual Outdoor collection with two new showers designed by Marta Sansoni, created to integrate gracefully and lightly into outdoor spaces. Inspired by the plant world and natural elements, these new proposals, presented on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025, transform the daily act of showering into a ritual of connection between body, environment and matter.
The project fully expresses the poetics of Sansoni, which has always been attentive to creating objects that dialogue with nature, without ever overpowering it. The showers are designed to inhabit outdoor space naturally: next to a swimming pool, amidst the vegetation of a garden or along the edge of a body of water, they become architectural and at the same time sculptural elements.
One of the two showers looks like a real installation: a sloping tube, minimal in its essence, recalls the branch of a tree and rests on a material block. This can be a rough piece of travertine, a parallelepiped of polished marble or a glass volume that accentuates the hanging effect. The basic element is deliberately left to the free choice of the designer or user, so as to fit organically into the landscape context.
The second proposal is characterised by a sinuous and flexible profile, a cane bending in the wind. The image evoked is that of a bamboo or willow branch that tilts harmoniously. Here too, the form is not only functional, but highly symbolic: the shower becomes part of the natural narrative of space, a light and dynamic sign that moves with the air.
With these new solutions, Marta Sansoni’s outdoor showers combine water, aesthetics and technology in a new balance, where each element is designed to promote a refined sensory experience, in continuity between indoors and outdoors. Fantini thus confirms its vocation for a design that not only furnishes, but also narrates.
