Rather than being integrated into the floor, FritsJurgens pivot hinges are totally integrated into the sash: a minimally invasive solution that is suitable for both existing configurations and new buildings.
The only external elements are two small support plates: one on the ceiling, the other on the floor; the latter is equipped with two bushings that fit only 8 mm deep. This feature also makes it compatible with any underfloor heating systems, as well as with listed buildings.
The floor plate has a special hole in which the oval pin of the pivot hinge, concealed in the lower part of the door, fits. The installation of a FritsJurgens hinged door takes no more than thirty minutes in total.
