Elica redefines the concept of contemporary kitchens with Connex, the new generation of smart appliances designed to integrate advanced technology and design into a seamless user experience. With this collection, the Marche-based company continues its journey of innovation that has made it one of the first brands to imagine a connected kitchen, capable of adapting to the rhythm of everyday life and transforming every gesture into a simple, natural and precise interaction.
Connex was created with the aim of building a domestic ecosystem in which the hob and hood communicate with each other and with the user, anticipating needs and automating functions that until a few years ago required manual intervention. The project is based on two technological infrastructures: on the one hand, Multi Connection, which allows the induction hob to communicate via Bluetooth with the hood, automatically adjusting the extraction and lighting according to the cooking process; on the other hand, Connectivity, which uses Wi-Fi and the Elica app to extend remote control, from device activation to lighting management, filter monitoring and real-time assistance. The kitchen thus becomes a smart environment that interprets user behaviour and provides the feeling of immediate and intuitive control of the space.
The focus on quality of experience is also reflected in the care taken with surfaces and everyday use: the ability to control hoods and hobs remotely reduces the need for physical contact, preserving the cleanliness and aesthetics of the elements. This approach confirms Elica’s desire to combine invisible technology, ergonomics and formal beauty in a constant balance.
The range that inaugurates the Connex world expresses this philosophy through products that combine aesthetic character and advanced performance. Element stands out for the linearity of its profile and the acoustic comfort guaranteed by its brushless motor, designed to ensure efficiency and reduced consumption even at the highest power settings. Super Plat, on the other hand, introduces a more material language, playing on the contrasts between black or grey glass and cast iron-effect elements, transforming the hood into a true piece of furniture that can be perfectly integrated into different contexts. Completing the collection is the Ratio Connex 804 Plus Raw induction hob, featuring a matt black finish developed to resist scratches and fingerprints, keeping the surface pristine over time.
Connex therefore represents not only a technological evolution, but also a new way of understanding the kitchen as a relational environment, where technology is at the service of domestic well-being and design. This is a further step forward in Elica’s vision, which continues to combine function, aesthetics and innovation to imagine the kitchen of the future.
