Cersaie‘s exhibition sectors offer visitors all the latest trends in living design. One of these sectors with particular appeal is bathroom and wellness design. Many companies will be presenting innovative projects and products on this theme.
Here is a preview of the protagonists who will represent ceramic products in the wellness sector.
CAESAR
The wide range of aesthetic solutions offered by Caesar porcelain stoneware was an excellent response to the need for high technological performance and respect for the environment, which is one of Hotel CampZero’s main missions, defining a partnership of absolute validity. Stone, in its different essences, prevailed in the stylistic choice of numerous walls and floors.

CASALGRANDE PADANA
The main idea behind the “KLAB PRATO” SPA project was to develop a space that would put people in contact with natural raw materials such as stone and wood. Casalgrande Padana’s fine porcelain stoneware surfaces come into intimate contact with the human body, light, water and air, creating a true place of refuge from the frenzy of everyday life.

CERCOM
A prestigious building, Corte San Ruffillo, protected by the Belle Arti, has become a prestigious agritourism, with a SPA dedicated to guests and an outdoor swimming pool. The Square collection by Cercom was chosen by the designers for the floor and wall coverings of the SPA and swimming pool thanks to its technical characteristics, maximum non-slip safety and great aesthetic impact.

COEM
Hotel Van der Valk De Cantharel is a wellness hotel in the Veluwe, one of the largest wooded areas in Holland. The hotel’s wellness garden is a pleasant green oasis, with an outdoor swimming pool and a spa with an indoor pool. The indoor area is entirely paved with the Loire diCoem collection in the colour Moka, which makes this hotel in the middle of the green even more charming.

COTTO D’ESTE
The aim of the NIRA MONTANA HOTEL project was to extend the typical characteristics of natural materials to neutral and conceptually distant elements in a sophisticated overall balance. In this overall vision, ceramics act as a trait d’union for a design idea that takes advantage of the flexibility, technical characteristics and aesthetic character of Cotto d’Este surfaces.

GRUPPO CERDISA RICCHETTI
Gruppo Cerdisa Ricchetti intervened in the project for the Alsik Hotel in Denmark with the Blackboard collection, which, inspired by the strength and dynamism of slate, infuses the rooms with the flavour of lived stone. For a modern, high-performance surface with a contemporary look.

FIORANESE
The Mary Pop Hotel is a family-run boutique hotel. Renewal has also involved a youthful and lively renovation, without forgetting its origins. The objective has also been fully achieved in the cladding. Even on the top floor, in the “RoofTop Spa”, the light-coloured wood in chalet style and I Cocci Spaccato di Fioranese porcelain stoneware in the colour White combine with cheerfulness.

FLORIM
Directly overlooking the ocean, the Scarborough Swimming Pool, an imposing aquatic sports complex, an integral part of a project to redevelop Scarborough beach. For the external covering of the modern and aerodynamic structure, the Buildtech series of Floor Gres by Florim was chosen: a design solution that, thanks to its high technical performance, represents the ideal surface for this type of application.

FONDOVALLE
Great originality and natural comfort has been given to the swimming pool area of the Terme di Castel San Pietro centre, in Bologna, thanks to the Woods decoration of the Dream series, a wall tile collection inspired by the natural fibre of linen and offering an innovative interpretation. The Res Art series was chosen for the changing room area, an intense, material project defined by a light relief texture visible thanks to the vibrations of light that enhance the surface and its high aesthetic quality.

KEOPE
Completely immersed in the Val di Fassa, amidst enchanting landscapes and breathtaking views, stand the QC Terme Dolomiti. The building and the surrounding landscape establish a dialogue thanks to the use of the stone-effect porcelain stoneware collection In&Out Percorsi Smart by Keope Ceramiche, which guarantees continuity between interior and exterior and covers the rooms with elegance and uniformity.

KRONOS
The QC Terme wellness centre in Chamonix is located at the foot of Mont Blanc and boasts a breathtaking view of the Bossons glacier. The use of Kronos Ceramiche porcelain stoneware instead of real wood and stone was certainly a courageous decision on the part of the QC Terme artistic management. Choosing a product graphically faithful to the original, easy to clean and maintain, with non-slip properties, resistant to temperature changes and easy to sanitise and sterilise, however, represented a winning path for the future.

LEA
A new hotel structure conceived as an integral part of the surrounding landscape: this is Milla Montis, located in a small alpine village in South Tyrol. In line with the ecological concept of Peter Pichler Architecture’s project, sustainable materials are used in all the rooms. For example, the Waterfall collection by Lea Ceramiche was chosen for the wall tiles, a ceramic product that reinterprets a natural stone such as slate in a realistic way. Made using only natural raw materials, with recycling of waste and non-ceramic waste, thanks to huge investments in the latest production technologies, it is a 100% eco-friendly material.

PANARIA CERAMICS
The Alpin & Spa Resort Schwarzenstein is a 4-star wellness hotel in Lutago in Alto Adige. The Köck & Bachler studio chose Panaria ceramics for the floor and wall coverings of the wellness area, massage zone, bathrooms and common areas because they are very similar to a stone extracted from the area whose quarry was closed in the 1960s. Ceramica Panaria has succeeded in creating a perfect and extraordinary reproduction of this enchanting stone with all its peculiarities: gilding of different intensities, chromatic variations, dots and scratches of absolute naturalness and with a mineralogical effect of shimmering perceivable against the light.

PIEMME INDUSTRIES
Canadian designer Flora Di Menna chose tiles by Ceramiche Piemme for the renovation of a villa in one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods of Toronto (Canada). The Marmi Reali Ceramiche Piemme series, in fact, fits perfectly into the philosophy of the project, which blends together unique and valuable elements in the sign of contemporaneity, to ensure well-being, perfectly balanced with the architectural structure of the villa. The collection combines the beauty and refinement of the finest marbles with high quality porcelain stoneware.
