Bencore will be the exclusive distributor for Italy of decorative papers for architecture and design produced by the prestigious French brand, Procédés Chénel.
Bencore has signed this important partnership, made even more strategic by the fact that Procédés Chénel produces decorative paper with European certification for fire resistance class B s1 d0, making it a very versatile product since these requirements are increasingly in demand, especially in the contract sector. Moreover, this decorative paper can be totally recycled and reused, an aspect that has made it a very interesting product for Bencore, a company that has always been attentive to the green aspect of its products.
Today, Procédés Chénel is made up of a young team that can, however, count on no less than 100 years of experience and knowledge in the sector. The brand specialises in the production, development and distribution of materials and applications for interior design, installations, fairs and events. Along the way, the French brand has also gradually made an important and growing commitment to ecology and sustainability issues and is now able to offer high-level and sustainable solutions for all kinds of projects. With a view to constant improvement, Procédés Chénel brand products are recognised for having a low environmental impact, but the company is always looking for even less impactful solutions. One of the advantages of choosing Procédés Chénel’s decorative papers is the lower weight of this material compared to more conventional ones, which, for the same service, have a greater environmental impact as well as being less easy to use.
The DROP range, i.e. the section dedicated to ‘paper’ type materials, is articulated and extensive: all DROP ‘papers’ are fire retardant, lightweight, ideal for carving, printing, shaping and offered in a wide palette of colours. They are ideal for contemporary, temporary architecture, printed panels, separating elements, false ceilings and installations. Their composition is based on cellulose, polyester and glass fibre.
Procédés Chénel’s papers are used both in permanent installations, such as in the service sector, retail and hospitality, and in temporary installations such as events, fairs and exhibitions
Due to their M1 flame retardant classification, all papers are perfectly suited for locations open to the public. Ceiling systems meet the criteria for smoke evacuation and fire extinguishing by sprinklers. All ‘paper’ materials generally allow for quick installation.
