In the world of interior design, colour continues to play a leading role, capable of influencing atmospheres and emotions as much as shapes and materials. Villeroy & Boch interprets this trend with a new chapter in the Artis washbasin collection, entrusting designer Gesa Hansen with the creation of a palette that enhances the power of deep shades and the elegance of natural tones. The new colour options – Pure Black, Almond, Nightfall and Teal – introduce a refined play of contrasts, designed to transform the bathroom into an intimate, welcoming and contemporary space.
The new colour options – Pure Black, Almond, Nightfall and Teal – introduce a refined play of contrasts, designed to transform the bathroom into an intimate, welcoming and contemporary space. Pure Black and Nightfall embody the power of dark shades, capable of evoking intimacy and stability, like a refuge from the frenetic pace of everyday life. Balancing these enveloping atmospheres are Almond, a soft and welcoming beige, and Teal, a bright blue-green that brings freshness and energy. The interaction between these shades allows you to play with contrasts and harmonies, creating elegant yet dynamic spaces.
The Artis collection not only expands the colour range but also experiments with new formal solutions. For the first time, alongside the traditional two-tone version, there is a single-colour countertop washbasin, designed to intensify the visual effect and create coherent and harmonious environments. Made of TitanCeram, a material that combines strength and refinement, the washbasins are available in four shapes – round, oval, square and rectangular – and integrate perfectly with the Finion and Antao furniture lines. For smaller bathrooms, the Guest series offers compact versions with a refined design, ideal for guest spaces.
Gesa Hansen‘s touch is evident in every detail: the French-Danish designer is known for her sensitive approach to colour, which she considers not only an aesthetic element but also a means of evoking emotions and defining the identity of a space. Her collaboration with Villeroy & Boch continues to evolve with designs that go beyond pure functionality, transforming the bathroom into an intimate and personal space where design meets everyday well-being.
