On March 20th 2026, in Grosseto, against the splendid backdrop of Palazzo Aldobrandeschi, the conference “Arkell Group and the culture of design: innovation and excellence” will take place. This event is dedicated to the world of architecture and will provide a forum for professionals, companies and designers to discuss innovation, materials and design quality.
Organised by the Arkell Group, a company active in the field of design and solutions for architecture and interior design, the event aims to foster dialogue between design research, building culture and technological innovation.
Simona Finessi, founder of Platform Architecture and Design, will open the proceedings; she will moderate the conference and guide the discussion among the evening’s various guests.
Among the scheduled talks is one dedicated to the theme ‘Innovative materials and technologies for architecture’, led by Antonello Miceli, commercial director of Porcelanosa Group, and Bruno Deserti, Italy manager at Krion – Porcelanosa Group, who will present some of the solutions and potential of advanced materials applied to contemporary design.
The second part of the event will be dedicated to a discussion with two leading figures in Tuscan architecture. In the talk “Tuscan excellence in the world of design”, Simona Finessi will converse with architect Pietro Carlo Pellegrini and architect Simona Franci of the Fortebis studio, discussing their professional experiences, design languages and the opportunities offered by the local and international context.
“With this event, we aim to create a genuine opportunity for dialogue between designers, companies and professionals,” say Laura Farasin, co-founder of Gruppo Arkell, and Giuditta Casprini, director. “We believe that design culture stems from dialogue between different areas of expertise and the sharing of experiences, materials and visions. It is precisely through this exchange that spaces capable of combining innovation, quality and identity take shape”.
The event, accredited with 3 CPD points for architects, will conclude with a social gathering at Gruppo Arkell’s showroom in Grosseto (Via Nepal, 14), offering participants a further informal space for dialogue and discussion.
