Archventil designs PSC

In the lively Città Studi district of Milan, overlooking Piazza Ascoli, Archventil, the studio founded by Elena Tomlenova, has completed PSC—a full renovation of a 100-square-meter apartment on the sixth floor, designed to measure for a young couple.
The project stemmed from the need to optimize space and redefine the interior layout, emphasizing visual fluidity and connection between rooms. The expansion of the living area and the redesign of the second bathroom—now directly connected to the master bedroom—reveal a design approach finely tuned to the rhythms of everyday life.

From the entrance, the atmosphere of the home is immediately perceived, defined by balanced tones and refined contrasts. In the living area, the custom kitchen with peninsula stands out for its dark hues that dialogue with the light oak parquet and neutral walls. At the center, the walnut children’s room volume, alternating smooth and fluted surfaces, becomes a distinctive architectural element.

The custom-designed sofa in the living room naturally extends into the master bedroom, where the bed, nightstands, and wardrobe form a cohesive ensemble. The wardrobe conceals a vanity corner, while a mirrored window on the wall brings light into the guest bathroom.

The master bathroom becomes a domestic wellness space: a mini spa with white resin flooring and a freestanding bathtub. A glass partition with a custom totem-effect washbasin ensures privacy without compromising brightness. In the second bathroom, material and chromatic continuity continues through ceramics, resin flooring and walls, and bespoke furnishings.
