Amberwood is a project that showcases the poetic power of Cesar design, transforming a kitchen into an aesthetic and sensory experience. Created in 2024 in Kingston by Cesar by Espresso (Londra), the project won the Bronze Award for Residential Interior Design at the 2024 International Design Awards, confirming the brand’s ability to inspire the international interior design scene.
Designed by Sketch Architects in collaboration with Unique Space Homes, Amberwood was created as a celebration of the Tangram collection by Garcia Cumini: a line inspired by the famous Chinese game of geometric shapes, reinterpreted in a contemporary key through fluid and sculptural modularity.
The protagonist of the space is the curved island with a metallic lacquered Groove door, an architectural gesture that becomes the beating heart of the room. Its elegant and sinuous presence unites the kitchen and living room in a single story of harmony, while the Bianco Eclipsia quartzite worktop captures the light and diffuses it with refinement. The Maxima 2.2 columns in dark oak add depth and warmth, balancing the metallic surfaces with a natural and enveloping touch.
At Amberwood, every detail is designed to create a balanced dialogue between material and form, tradition and innovation. It is a project that reflects the essence of Cesar: a design that does not merely define space, but transforms it into an emotional experience, where beauty meets functionality and craftsmanship becomes the poetic language of contemporary living.
