Altrove

The architecture studio Lupettatelier, on the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2024, collaborates with Monica Geronimi art director and founder of mg12 who, for the occasion, presents some pieces of the new collection.
The journey starts from the 1950s in Brazil, which is the source of inspiration for the collection, and then reaches the Milan of 2024, with a more attentive and aware look at the world and the rules of contemporary living.

The creative concept envisages immersion within an intimate environment, domestic at times, but also reproducible elsewhere (altrove), hence the name of the experience.
Nature takes over and is evoked through the tactile and visual sensation of the setting, made concrete by Rubelli, who uses some fabrics from the new 2024 Gardens collection.
Like hearths, vernacular lamps by Melograno Blu illuminate the scenes of the project, focusing the viewer’s attention on the story of the Florentine photographer Dario Borruto, who draws windows on architecture and the world with his shots.
The hanging, sculptural volume by Ruga.Perissinotto x Bolzan serves as a console for the dining corner, at the centre of which is a glass and terracotta dust element by Studio Terre that recalls a playful dimension in connection with nature.

The installation is then coordinated by carpets from the new outdoor collection by Sirecom Tappeti, who entrusted the selection of colours and textures to Lupettatelier.
The experience created inside the atelier gives shape to an urban habitat, which can be transported and configured as required.

Lupettatelier takes care of the concept of this project and opens the doors of the studio to all these collaborations and contaminations, to build a tailor-made habitat that meets new living needs.
