ACQUA is Fantini’s new catalogue dedicated to its collections of taps and shower systems. It is a comprehensive reference tool, designed to bring together and present the company’s entire range in a structured way, the result of collaboration with internationally renowned designers.
The volume does not merely list the products, but clearly conveys the brand’s identity. The introductory pages explore the values that guide the company: water as a central element of the project, a passion for quality, and a concrete focus on environmental sustainability. A fundamental role is also attributed to the link with Lake Orta, the area where Fantini was founded and continues to operate, and which represents a constant source of inspiration.
What makes the story distinctive is a word that is used naturally within the company: “fantinità”. This term recalls Gianni Rodari’s “Fantastica”, understood as “fantasy that acts on reality”, and sums up the company’s design approach: transforming imagination into concrete solutions, combining creativity and technical rigour.
It is no coincidence that this expression originated in Pella, on the shores of Lake Orta, the same lake that Rodari described as capable of “doing its own thing”, as its outlet flows northwards, unlike most of the lakes in northern Italy. A geographical peculiarity that becomes a metaphor for an autonomous identity.
A passion for water, respect for the environment and dialogue between industry and nature are the principles that have also guided the evolution of the production site on the lake. Piero Lissoni was entrusted with the reinterpretation of the historic industrial buildings on the lakefront, the heart of Fantini’s business. The result is an essential and measured architecture, characterised by clean lines and careful integration into the landscape, respecting its sober elegance.
The same attention to consistency and balance can be found in the images in the catalogue, which illustrate bathroom environments, wellness spaces and outdoor solutions. Each project is presented as part of a harmonious system, in which aesthetics and functionality interact naturally.
ACQUA is thus an editorial tool that summarises collections, vision and values, offering a complete overview of the Fantini universe.
