A New Concept of Luxury and Mediterranean Identity

Albania is undergoing an unprecedented architectural transformation, thanks to the involvement of the Luca Dini Design & Architecture studio, which brings its international prestige to the country’s coastline. Five iconic projects are redefining the urban and maritime landscape, blending innovation, sustainability, and a deep respect for cultural heritage.

With a vision that combines nautical design with urban architecture, the Florentine studio is committed to creating exclusive and refined spaces that harmonize with the natural environment. The projects in Albania are part of a sustainable growth plan, emphasizing the connection between land and sea, as well as between tradition and modernity.

Colosseum 339: The Echo of Metaphysics

Inspired by De Chirico’s Metaphysical Cities, Colosseum 339 is a tower that fuses classical and contemporary architectural elements. Its forms are reminiscent of Albanian fortifications and medieval Italian towers, strengthening the cultural link between the two countries. The round arches, irregularly distributed across the facades, create a play of light and shadow that enhances the building’s sculptural quality.

Tirana Villas: The Fusion of Art and Nature

In this luxury residential complex, architecture blends with the landscape. The villas, designed with a hypogean approach, gently emerge from the ground, while the retaining walls evoke the dynamism of Kandinsky’s works, transforming the environment into a living work of art.

Durres Tower: A Contemporary Beacon on the Coast

The skyline of Durrës will be enhanced by Durres Tower, a 30-story multifunctional skyscraper that will house luxury residences, commercial spaces, and hotel facilities. Its innovative facade utilizes eco-friendly materials such as recycled wood slats and 3D-printed resin, while an internal “green canyon” improves air quality and promotes urban biodiversity.

Pine Residences: The Memory of Ancient Ruins

Designed to evoke the historical past of Durrës, Pine Residences reinterprets ancient architectural elements with a contemporary language. The residential area includes a cultural amphitheater and a panoramic bastion offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea.

Skalitur Tower: The Evolution of Matter

Inspired by Michelangelo’s Prisons, Skalitur Tower is a tribute to the struggle between form and matter. With sinuous lines and materials sourced from Albanian quarries, this project expresses the ongoing dialogue between history, art, and architecture.

Luca Dini and his studio continue to stand out as leaders of architectural innovation, bringing a new concept of luxury and sustainability to Albania. Through these projects, Albania’s coastline becomes a laboratory of experimentation and creativity, where each building transforms into an icon of the contemporary Mediterranean.
