Spazio MM is an eclectic place where both the work activities of the MM Company creative agency and creative meetings and exhibitions coexist, thanks to the gallery space with shop windows on the street. SPAZIO MM is the new epicentre of the creative duo Barbieri Magalini, allowing them to physically show and share their vision through exhibitions, talks, installations, dinners and convivial moments related to design and applied arts.
“In these 10 years of working as creative consultants for brands and projects in the fields of furniture, fashion and interior design, we have consolidated our DNA, which is based on two pillars: our kaleidoscopic vision and eclecticism. The former consists of drawing from the worlds closest to us such as architecture, art, fashion, design, cuisine and music to give our clients creative kaleidoscopic projects, always conceived in the round; the latter, eclecticism, is the fascinating art of combining concepts, inspirations, people and materials that are apparently distant, to integrate them harmoniously within the framework of the brand dna. We were looking for a physical space in which to show and share the research process done through these pillars“, the creatives declare.
The concept that will unite the events organised in SPAZIO MM will be “Barbieri Magalini meet“, i.e. a dialogue – sometimes more collaborative, sometimes more curatorial – between the creative duo and a guest. It will therefore be a versatile space, open to the creative community, and capable of transforming itself to accommodate multifaceted creative stories.
“SPAZIO MM is a place where things will not be ‘shown’, but where a dialogue will be initiated. We are confident that this dialogue, both physical and conceptual, which will connect inspiration and work, i.e. the two souls of the space, will be of great enrichment and inspiration both for us and for the creative community that will frequent it“, emphasise Barbieri Magalini.
The space’s interiors reflect the duo’s eclectic approach: a balance between rationalism and decoration, in an essential key. A reference to the world of Galleries: large volumes with high ceilings, marked materiality, architectural details such as chamfered arches, resin on the floor. An essential but material space, ready to be embellished by the creative projects it will host.
