In the refined district of Parioli, in Rome, Roman Vibes by Pelizzari Studio explores contemporary living through a sophisticated balance of formal rigor and sensory nuance. The light of Rome becomes a primary design material, flowing through the interiors and shaping a calm, almost suspended atmosphere. From the very first meeting, the client expressed a clear vision: a restrained, “almost Milanese” language defined by controlled geometries and a muted palette of greys and sandy tones.
The project unfolds as a composition of refined minimalism, enriched by carefully calibrated eclectic moments. The entrance sets the tone: a mirror hangs above a vintage bench upholstered in rust-colored velvet, introducing the apartment’s sophisticated narrative.
In the living area, custom-designed furnishings interact with rich materials and textures – ice-colored velvets, dark wood essences, and deep-toned fabrics create a space that is both rigorous and inviting. A knotted wool introduces an unexpected chromatic variation, contributing to a layered domestic landscape.
Throughout the interior, minimalism is punctuated by bold color accents – from aquamarine cushions to aubergine dining chairs – while cappuccino-toned walls alternate with deeper hues, forming a sequence of almost theatrical backdrops.
The sleeping area continues this narrative with softer, more intimate tones, while the study reveals one of the project’s most striking moments: a curved wall softens the rigidity of the original layout, opening toward the terrace and introducing a fluid and unexpected spatial dynamic.
The legacy of 1930s architecture is reinterpreted through a dialogue between curved forms and strict geometries, between bespoke elements and iconic pieces. The result evokes the atmosphere of a vibrant cinematic set – refined, expressive, and full of character.
