For the Zaandam headquarters, PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING NL developed a solution capable of responding to the different functional and perceptual needs of the spaces. Inside the main showroom, the lighting is designed to enhance the surfaces and finishes of the displayed vehicles. The use of high color-rendering fixtures ensures faithful color perception, a fundamental aspect in an automotive retail environment. The electrified track system also allows for a flexible configuration, easily adaptable to changes in the layout and the rotation of the displayed models.
In the common areas, offices, and workstations, the lighting is calibrated according to the different activities carried out within the spaces. DL ROUND recessed ceiling fixtures provide diffuse and uniform light distribution, while FL ROUND+ 555 PL suspended fixtures and SL764+ PL linear systems help define visually comfortable and coherent environments.
Particular attention was also dedicated to the adjoining workshop, where lighting takes on a strongly functional character. The continuous lighting lines of the TRY series, combined with NORMA+ waterproof luminaires, ensure adequate illumination levels, uniformity, and reliability — essential elements for guaranteeing safety and operational efficiency.
Outside, the architectural identity of the building is enhanced by MIMIK 20 wall-mounted fixtures, while the outdoor areas are illuminated with KREOS and HEDO+ solutions, designed to combine performance, durability, and aesthetic consistency with the overall project.
