Between nature and architecture: PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING illuminates the WolfsHoeve riding arena

Nestled in the tranquillity of the Dutch countryside, the WolfsHoeve riding centre in Huijbergen stands out as a leading equestrian centre, where sport, breeding and hospitality coexist in perfect harmony. The modern structure, perfectly integrated into the landscape, houses an arena for competitions and training, stables for horses, living spaces for riders and a panoramic brasserie, creating a functional and welcoming environment in every detail.

The lighting design by PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING played a fundamental role in defining the identity of the complex, enhancing its spaces through lighting designed to combine efficiency, safety and visual comfort. Each area, both indoor and outdoor, was designed with specific solutions tailored to different usage requirements.
Outdoors, light becomes an integral part of the architecture. TYK+ 10, TYK+ 20 and FOCUS+ 3 professional projectors guarantee high performance and accent lighting, while HEDO+ FT, LM4 and KREOS luminaires ensure uniform and diffused distribution in larger areas. Pathways and passageways are illuminated by MIMIK 10 POST bollards, which combine discretion and safety, providing harmonious visual guidance even at night.

On the main façades, QUASAR 30 wall-mounted luminaires add a dramatic touch, transforming light into an architectural element.
Inside, the lighting design is geared towards comfort and functionality. In the equestrian arena, the beating heart of the riding school, LAMA+ luminaires diffuse uniform, controlled light, preventing glare and ensuring optimal conditions for horses and riders during training and competitions. In the stables and common areas, the choice of MIMIK 10 FLAT and MIMIK 10 CEILING ensures balanced and comfortable lighting, supported by downlights that complete the project with uniformity and precision.
WolfsHoeve is a prime example of how conscious lighting design can transform a space, improving its usability and aesthetics. The result is an environment where functionality and well-being coexist harmoniously, demonstrating the importance of light as a tool for design, safety and quality of life.
