Avro, smart working and light.

How does light vary in relation to the radical change that smart working has introduced into domestic spaces?
Martinelli Luce has answered this question with Avro, a pendant lamp that conceals a socket in the lower part of its diffuser designed by Studio Natural. The collection is expanded with two new versions: Avro Junior which, as the name suggests, has reduced dimensions of only 35 cm x h 25 cm in height, and a version of the lamp with only the socket. These new proposals introduce the possibility of attaching the lamps to a rail, so that they can be positioned with precision and moved just as easily. A detail designed to make the installation of Avro functional in public and working environments, and to make the use of devices requiring electricity even more flexible.

The two new solutions are born to respond to very precise needs: those of space in restricted environments, thanks to the reduction in diameter of the Avro Junior diffuser, and availability of sockets in coworking spaces, open spaces or where there is no need to add lights, with the design of the socket alone. A proposal, the latter, that enriches the original design of the socket with a second cone, positioned as a mirror, at the centre of which is a diffuser that lights up at regular intervals, with a luminous and soft effect, to highlight the ongoing activity of the socket. A project conceived not only to simplify work, at home, in the office or in public environments, but also to facilitate the use of devices that require electricity, transforming any table into a true functional workshop at the service of the user’s creativity, integrating design and function with the spontaneity that distinguishes the Avro family.
