The art of longevity by Myrtha Pools @THE LAKE COMO EDITION

Overlooking the waters of Lake Como, the new Longevity Spa at The Lake Como Edition redefines wellness through a balance of architecture, technology and ritual. Designed by Neri&Hu, the project draws inspiration from the region’s neoclassical villas and the language of ancient Roman baths, creating an environment where science-based diagnostics and holistic practices merge into a contemporary wellness experience.

At the heart of the spa is the indoor vitality pool designed and installed by Myrtha Pools. Behind its understated elegance lies a sophisticated system incorporating twelve hydromassage seats and four stainless-steel loungers, all positioned beneath floor-to-ceiling glazing overlooking the lake.

Every detail contributes to the atmosphere of the space. A concealed overflow edge finished in Laminam hides the Myrtha stainless-steel structure, while a palette of blue and pearl-blue ceramics reflects the ever-changing tones of the surrounding water. Softwalk technology enhances comfort and safety, while black stainless-steel panels add a refined and discreet character that integrates seamlessly with the architectural rhythm conceived by Neri&Hu.

The wellness journey continues with a plunge pool, an ice fountain, a Finnish sauna and a herbal sauna crafted in hemlock wood. The experience is completed by a steam bath and two emotional showers designed by Myrtha Wellness: one recreating a gentle breeze effect and the other a tropical cascade enriched with aromatic essences.

More than a collection of wellness facilities, the Longevity Spa is a project built around the relationship between place, materiality and wellbeing. Within this context, Myrtha’s modular technology demonstrates its versatility once again, integrating seamlessly into an architecture where thermal traditions, contemporary design and advanced wellness solutions coexist in perfect balance.
