Located on Corso Genova in Milan, Eego Studios has designed the new Vintage Room store, a boutique dedicated to luxury second-hand fashion. Following the success of the first location, this second space establishes itself as an immersive and refined project, where architecture, light, and material interact to create a shopping experience that transcends simple product display. The concept stems from a reflection on the dualism between intimacy and futuristic vision.
From this idea, the project unfolds as a cosmic walk-in closet—a place that merges domestic familiarity with the allure of a spaceship. The enveloping, mirrored interiors generate a fluid and surreal atmosphere.
The layout is organized around a central island, while side niches host objects like fragments of a visual narrative. Mirrored walls expand spatial perception and discreetly conceal technical accesses. At the heart of the project lies materiality: white Carrara marble, custom-sculpted, reinterprets Chanel’s iconic pattern in an abstract way, transforming into a three-dimensional display for bags and accessories.
Light becomes a narrative element. During the day, the transparent glass façade connects the interior with the urban fabric; at night, the store glows like a luminous lantern, projecting reflections and impressions onto the street. It is within this dialogue between presence and revelation that the concept of “Nightecture” emerges—defined by the studio as an architecture that comes alive at night, capable of transforming retail into an emotional and almost theatrical experience.
At the core of the project lies the philosophy of Eego Studios, which defines itself as a “studio of makers”: a laboratory where architecture takes shape through direct dialogue with artisans and manufacturers, guided by processes of continuous prototyping and development. This approach translates into tactile and narrative spaces, where form expresses function and every detail contributes to the creation of a total experience.
