Rimadesio, a company specialized in the creation of innovative systems for interior spaces, unveiled the three new collections designed by Giuseppe Bavuso and inaugurated the “Stories and Matters” exhibition dedicated to the interpretation of Rimadesio materials, with the aim of deepening the corporate stylistic identity through experimental and evocative snapshots.
The exhibition, whose shots were taken by the photographers Santi Caleca, Nicolas Polli, Tommaso Sartori, Simone Cavadini and Frank Hülsbömer, are presented in a new display mode and will continue in itinerant mode at the principal Rimadesio showrooms in Europe.
The new collection is composed mainly of aluminum and glass, Rimadesio materials of excellence, 100% recyclable and actively recovered in the production cycle. Products can be fully disassembled at the end of their life, ensuring the proper recycling of each component, in a perspective of circular economy that reduces waste to zero.
The company thus conquered Design Week 2021, concluding the event with numbers that exceeded expectations: more than 2,5000 visitors, including architects, vendors, customers and journalists, from 35 countries.
“Cover Open is an innovative system designed to create open wardrobes with maximum compositional flexibility. An original and coherent project, made of precision and highest Italian quality.” Giuseppe Bavuso
Expression of Rimadesio’s constant technical research, Cover Open is an innovative open wardrobe solution, made to measure and perfectly integrable in the freestanding version with hinged doors.
Available in linear, corner and C-shaped compositions, the system guarantees the highest degree of personalization thanks to the wide range of equipment and the possibility of alternating open compartments with containers with hinged doors.
“Self Plan is a system that makes freedom of composition its main quality. It is declined in suspended compositions, ranging from the desk element to the living room furniture.” Giuseppe Bavuso
With a structure made entirely of aluminum, Self Plan is a perfect solution to furnish every area of the house, customizable in size and finishes.
In the writing desk version, it is available with an additional compartment in essence, freely positionable and integrable with leatherette drawers. The result is a perfectly functional home-office station, with an accessory grommet for connecting notebooks or table lamps.
In the mobile living version, it has an aluminium structure on which it is possible to arrange storage modules equipped with drawers, flap doors or open compartments. Here too, there is a grommet function for a practical TV housing.
“ Maxi is a partition system designed for wide spaces. An essential and refined solution, capable of separating but not dividing, thus creating fluid spaces where light dominates.” Giuseppe Bavuso
Maxi is the new system of sliding panels, capable of declining even on large dimensions, with panels that reach 3500 mm in height and 2000 mm in width. The wide design flexibility allows to realize always personalized compositions, ideal for domestic, professional, hospitality and retail contexts.
Undisputed protagonists of the system, the glass surfaces are marked by an irregular grid of aluminum with independent mirrors, designed to give maximum strength and stability to the structure.
Like all the sliding doors of the collection, Maxi uses the Rimadesio patented sliding track, which allows perfect levelling and absolute silence, ensuring calibrated and safe movements, even in large compositions.
All Rimadesio products are made by pursuing principles of environmental protection and its resources, through a production process powered by solar energy.
The company also aims to recycle all of its components and extends its commitment to all aspects of the production chain:
Like “Ecolorsystem”, the exclusive range of coatings used by Rimadesio and composed exclusively of water-based coatings, which guarantee the total absence of substances that are harmful to humans and the environment.
Lastly, Rimadesio packaging is produced on a just-in-time basis using only recycled and 100% recyclable cardboard. The minimal waste produced by the packaging machine is compressed mechanically and sent to nearby paper mills for the production of high-quality recycled paper, using a process with low environmental impact.
