Performance in Lighting enhances a private villa emblem of exclusive contemporary living

On the slopes of the Valpolicella hills stands a private villa emblematic of contemporary living with an exclusive character. The dwelling features designer furnishings and an indoor swimming pool. Designed by the ARCADE Progettazione Integrata studio, under the direction of architect Mario Bellavite, the dwelling finds its own stylistic hallmark in its modern features. It is spread over two floors and, thanks to its large windows, integrates natural and artificial light.

PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING was responsible for the entire lighting project, providing integrated lighting solutions with high energy savings for the various areas of the villa. The wide range of luminaires made it possible to meet the various lighting needs of the different environments, from indoor to outdoor lighting, from lighting the service areas and the SPA, where luminaires able to withstand high humidity were installed to illuminate the indoor pool.

For the interior spaces, minimalist luminaires were selected to provide lighting that integrates perfectly into the architecture. Dimmable LED luminaires were chosen that are capable of reducing maintenance costs and were specifically designed to enhance the premium materials used in the residence.

The minimal design of the B series recessed micro-spotlights, available in B2, B5 and B10 dimensions, inserts easily into the context. For the service lighting of the internal stairs, INSERT+ 10 wall recesses were installed to function as a path marker. Outside the residence, the MIMIK series expresses all its versatility in the ceiling versions MIMIK CEILING 10 and 20, while wall-mounted MIMIK 10 FLAT and MIMIK 20 FLAT use light to define the matte exterior surfaces of the building.

Green areas are enhanced with the FOCUS+ ZERO KIT micro-projectors with ground spike for accent lighting, while the pole-mounted SPILLO, and bollard-mounted SPILLO MINI, ensure general illumination in the garden. The MIMIK 10 POST 300 bollards illuminate the access walkways to the building and in the garden. A long continuous line of wall-mounted linear NOTTURNO luminaires instead enhances an entire facade of the villa with grazing light.
