Flair launches the new “AYO COLOUR” shower system.
AYO Colour by Flair is an innovative and functional walk-in shower program conceived by the Irish company to customize the design work of architects. Produced in stainless steel, with PVD technology, AYO Colour was the trend of fall 2021.
For Flair, designing means first interpreting the world of bathroom furniture and then enhancing it with pure design details. “With Ayo Colour we managed to combine minimalelegance and chromatic balance, creating a transversal project in tune with both traditional and modern interior architecture.” said Iulia Mihaela Cochior, Export Sales of Flair.
AYO Colour comes as a sleek, doorless system consisting of fixed tempered glass elements and featuring colorful AISI 304 stainless steel profiles that respond to the market’s ongoing quest for essential aesthetics. The profiles are available in brushed or polished finish: Brass and Satin Nickel (brushed), Gold and Steel (polished). The glass panes, profiles and stabilization bars are assembled in a system that combines the rigor of design with the usual guarantees of safety, ease of assembly and watertightness. The safety glass is elegant, translucent and 10 mm thick while the fixing points are designed to be elegantly concealed. AYO Colour offers so many combinations that it can be defined as “a standard that exceeds the normal products currently on the market”.
The new generation of colored profiles are made with PVD, (Physical Vapour Deposition), a technique that vaporizes the material from a source within a vacuum environment, depositing a coating on the entire surface. A finishing process that is 3 times harder and 10 times more scratch resistant than plated colors, providing a high level of hardness and resistance to everyday cleaning agents.
In addition, the PVD coating process is more environmentally friendly because no toxic by-products are used.
