Wall 1, Bolzan’s first wall covering system, is a custom-made design programme. It includes headboards, wood panelling and fabric panels for a soft-touch effect that enhances the aesthetic impact and comfort of the rooms. The experience and design flexibility of Bolzan, founded in 1989 in the province of Treviso as a manufacturer of beds, has enabled it to incorporate Wall 1 into the interior architecture of public spaces, hotels and private residences.
The panels, handcrafted in personalized sizes, shapes and finishes, can be linear, curved, sound-absorbing and fireproof. The customised coverings will enhance areas such as entrances, corridors and hallways, creating a sense of continuity with the overall interior design scheme. Furthermore, if used in an open-plan area, the panels’ different finishes can help identify the various functions of the room. The system can include electrical sockets, LED lighting, wall sconces and mirrors, adapting to bedrooms, study spaces and living areas. Easy to assemble and disassemble, the wall coverings can be replaced at any time, using new colours, fabric types and compositions to stylistically revamp the interiors.
