Villa ABK at Pearl Jumeirah Island

MMA Projects, a renowned architecture and interior design studio located north of Milan, has realised Villa ABK in Dubai, an evocative private residence where art and nature merge.
The building is located on the prestigious Pearl Jumeirah Island and is precisely a 4,000 square metre villa cantilevered over the water that enjoys an unparalleled view, directly overlooking the sea.
The structure features unusual architectural forms that enhance its uniqueness and elegance, as if shaped by the wind and the sea. A contemporary villa, which is characterised by being a museum displaying works of art, with its own identity and style.

Villa ABK, whose name recalls the initials of the property, is a custom-designed and made-to-measure residence, which meets the requirements of giving the project a unique and sophisticated ambience with bright and distinctive rooms.
Due to its composition, the structure can be divided into two: on one side is the main villa, and on the other is an outdoor area, which houses a recreational area dedicated to sports and relaxation, including padel courts.

The main villa is on four levels. The basement is partly used for private parking, and partly houses a wellness area with a yoga area, a fitness area and a spa, plus a cinema room.
The ground floor provides a formal work area with a studio and two office spaces. There are also two guest rooms.
The front part of the residence welcomes cohabitants in a warm and bright majlis, the main living area, to which are added a second living room, a dining area and an open kitchen, in which the 10-metre-long stone counter used as a buffet table plays a key role.
What characterises the ground floor is the presence of large windows which, in addition to providing a light-filled environment, have a complete opening to the green area and the beach and sea.

Going up to the first floor are the residential rooms, divided into a main room, two junior suites, and two suites, plus a third convivial lounge.
The fourth and last floor provides a terrace, with an indoor area where the kitchen is located, and an outdoor area with a unique view of the sea and a barbecue area.

The villa is clad with a white stone of Turkish origin, known as limra, which has been treated in different ways to provide a surface contrast between the lower part of the building and the upper part.
For the entire residence, MMA Projects has selected prestigious stones worked with special finishes, from pleated to woven, from the typical curvatures of bamboo to matt and frosted effects that give materiality and modernity to the environment.
