De.Tales – an international architecture, planning and design studio – is working on the construction of the 5-star Valtur Gallipoli Beach Resort.
This is the completion of a tourist facility overlooking the sea at Gallipoli, behind the Rivabella pine forest which, through the careful landscape, outdoor and interior design by the studio of architect Longo from Lecce and the international architecture and design studio De.Tales, provides a different interpretation of Apulian style and aesthetics, through the transposition of elements of traditional culture into a new contemporary version.
Impalpable and homogeneous colours, light, shadows and material elements shape the structure, consisting of 122 rooms.
The vernacular design is here reinterpreted in a contemporary key thanks to the dematerialisation of the original rigorous design lines, in an interplay of solids and voids.
The spaces are enhanced by the choice of candid nuances for the interiors, harmonised with the exteriors by a skilful use of greenery, imagined not as a merely ornamental aspect but as an essential structural component.
The design of Valtur Gallipoli enhances its exclusive and privileged location through design solutions that integrate with the territory.
Located to the north of the iconic town of Gallipoli, the resort offers direct access to a golden bay and a Caribbean Sea, offering Caribbean sea, providing guests with a private and elegantly equipped lido.
The reinterpretation and interpretation of the Apulian imagery is thus combined with a declination on the part of Valtur, which stands out for the excellence of its service with a view to deliberately non-invasive tailoring.
