Urban Minimalism

The international architecture and interior design studio Archventil has designed a flat of discreet elegance for an entrepreneurial couple. A minimalist home, where the essentiality of design blends with the warmth of wood and a neutral colour palette, in search of a refined and timeless style, enriched by the tactile charm of natural textures and eclectic details.

Located in one of Milan’s most flourishing neighbourhoods, the house reflects the passions and style of the owners, Milena and Filippo, who wanted a project capable of spreading a feeling of lightness and calm. The interior design is in fact conceived to evoke an atmosphere of serenity, where each element finds its place in an airy and bright context, far from superfluous clutter.
The 72 square metre flat comprises a large living room with open kitchen and dining area, a study, a bedroom and a bathroom.

The open layout of the living area, which is the heart of the house, favours a smooth transition between the kitchen, dining room and living area, welcoming guests in an elegant and relaxed ambience.
The real charm of this space lies in the material contrast: natural wood, travertine and steel meet in a harmonious tension between modernity and warmth, offering a new interpretation of luxury.
The kitchen area, delimited by a central stainless steel island, represents a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.

The sleeping area, on the other hand, has been conceived as a separate and intimate corner, hidden by a door integrated in the oak bookcase, so that practicality does not compromise the aesthetic purity of the space. This invisible door leads to the other part of the house, where the bedroom, bathroom and study are located.
Finally, the bathroom, equipped with a bright walk-in shower, combines everyday comfort with refined style, creating an inviting and refined environment dedicated to self-care.
