Unimetal-pods is the division of Unimetal that since 2022 has been dedicated to the production and marketing of prefabricated bathroom cells and one-piece cubicles customised for every need.
This new department stems from Unimetal’s decades of experience and continuous technological research in the field of sheet metal work and the production of civil roofing and façade cladding. Unimetal-pods thus succeeds in standing out for innovation and customised design: the technical consultancy, design and product customisation service is in fact provided according to specific requests.
Prefabricated Bathroom Cells, made of cold-formed steel, combine lightness and strength, offering unrivalled adaptability for any context. Thanks to advanced technologies, they guarantee rapid installation, significantly reducing construction time and offering efficient solutions for a variety of settings, from hotels to hospitals.
Each cell is designed from both an architectural and plant engineering point of view by Unimetal’s technical office, in full compliance with the project, regulations and pre-set standards. Assembly is carried out by specialised workers in the company’s factory, which guarantees quality and attention to detail in the design phase, in the choice of materials and in the construction of the prefabricated cell.
The bathroom cells are delivered to the building site complete with plumbing and electrical systems, with centralised preparation for connection to the building’s systems.
The interior fittings are completed with quality coverings, finishes and sanitary ware, which can be customised according to the customer’s requirements.
Unimetal provides a single qualified reference person in the company for each project, so that the customer does not have to call on different professionals, such as surveyors, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, tilers, etc. Unimetal proposes itself as a single point of contact, allowing not only the optimisation of energy and money, but also time savings and greater coordination.
The structure of the metal and plasterboard bathroom cell with a concrete base also allows easy and safe transport and rapid installation within a structure under construction without affecting the interior finishes of the cell, supplied at the time of purchase. The quotation is, in fact, complete with all craftsmanship and shows the total price, guaranteeing transparency and completeness of information, with no contingencies or additions of craftsmanship on site.
The bathroom cell, before being produced, is designed and customised according to the customer’s specifications and requests. Unimetal technicians will therefore design and estimate a fully customised cellular bathroom with plumbing and electrical systems, centralised predisposition for connection to the building’s systems, coverings, finishes, sanitary ware and faucets that the customer will have indicated and chosen.
