With its fabrics for 2024, Élitis goes beyond all shyness and reserve, showing an uninhibited and exuberant soul. The seven collections proposed are united by the spirit of unfettered creativity from which they originate: first of all Excentrique, which, as its name suggests, represents an explosion of bright colours that speaks of a desire for pop culture, brio and invigorating emotions inspired by Miami and its dynamism. The same strength, although expressed in a diametrically opposite language, is found in Easy, the plain-colour collection in which cotton and linen create a new timelessness made up of silky weave effects that emerge on the surface, revealing all the richness of the shades.
Baléares brings to mind the feeling of a warm wind caressing the sand, thanks to the play of irregular lines and inclusions of wooden beads or raffia tassels that seem to recreate a dance of character and play with the poetic mind of Cocteau. In contrast to the simplicity of this line is the Palacio collection, which is inspired by real treasures of Italian heritage, such as the Palazzo Ricci that so inspired Visconti. Its fabrics evoke atmospheres shrouded in mystery, elegance and opulence through soft, chic colours that create an interplay of chiaroscuro in satin, crackled and velvety fabrics with iridescent reflections. Wool is the protagonist of the Inlassable line, which proposes soft, shiny fabrics inspired by the elegance of men’s suits to express a noble timelessness.
Copenhagen, on the other hand, traces a quest for purity and minimalism, for softness rendered through supple materials and transparent flashes of light. Transparencies and textures allow light to suffuse the interior with a simple grace. Mixing the natural airs of wool, jute, linen and silk, they are tone-on-tone fabrics, hemmed, embroidered with patterns, skilfully deconstructed, or even adorned with patch effects, where a subtle play of lines glides endlessly. Concluding the series is Venice Beach, a collection for indoors and outdoors that is emblematic of a life of relaxation and comfort, represented by palm tree wefts drawn in place, large herringbone motifs with a woven look, and a wave of colourful geometric patterns.
