At 25 Avenue Rapp, in the prestigious 7th arrondissement, one of the French capital’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, the new Rimadesio flagship store was inaugurated, surrounded by buildings of great historical and architectural charm in the Haussmannian style, such as the Immeuble Lavirotte, an extraordinary example of Parisian Art Nouveau, or the historic Pharmacie, built in 1905 and declared a National Monument.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new flagship store in Paris, a key reference point for the French and international markets, much like Milan, London and New York. This space is designed to welcome dealers, customers and enthusiasts, offering them the opportunity to admire our collection and collaborate with our team of professionals on custom projects. Paris is an extraordinary backdrop, and we are ready to share our vision with the global interior design community,” explained Davide and Luigi Malberti, CEO and CFO of the company.
Working from plans by Rimadesio Studio, the space is on two floors and has been architecturally redesigned to reflect the brand’s signature style. On the ground floor, the eight large windows overlooking Avenue Rapp and Avenue de Sedillot offer a comprehensive overview of the Rimadesio collection. Brand icons such as the Zenit bookcase and the Cover walk-in wardrobe are displayed, along with the most recent innovations, including Rialto furniture, the Air system, including fix panels and pivot doors, and the carpet collection. Of particular scenic importance is the Modulor boiserie, a customised multifunctional system that adapts to the most diverse architectural requirements.
The basement is dedicated to the R-Academy, a space reserved for professionals in the sector, where architects and designers have at their disposal a meeting room equipped for training meetings, projections and technical courses. The space also includes a technical area dedicated to doors and walk-in wardrobes, designed to offer customised advice on residential and commercial projects.
