The New Heritage is the synthesis of Caleido‘s path of innovation and research that flows into the completely renewed product catalogue thanks to five new bright colours and the reinterpretation of iconic models with new materials and finishes. The New Heritage was born on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the company, which has been pursuing a new and authentic vision of warmth since 1993, designing and producing radiators and towel warmers at the forefront of aesthetics and technology.
From this anniversary, Caleido takes new impetus for the future, proposing to designers and planners a new approach to the radiant object. The objective is to concretise in the spaces a wider and wider idea of comfort and well-being, involving every sense, mixing technique and aesthetic research and designing in the present a future under the sign of beauty and sustainability.
Being 30 years old means being able to count on all the research, innovation and thought that have made Caleido, step by step, one of the 100% made in Italy realities of reference for the sector, internationally recognised with customers in over 60 countries.
This wealth of encounters, suggestions, points of view has led to the emergence of five new colours that energetically transfigure the lines of Caleido’s iconic radiators and towel warmers: electric blue, turquoise, coral, rust and ochre. From the slender columns of Ottolungo, to the elegant modularity of 100Righe1000Righe, to the reinterpreted score in a design key of Pentagramma, all by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, from the plastic forms of Brasilia and Brasilia Wide by Massimo Iosa Ghini, from the ethereal lightness of Parenthesis, the brainchild of Marco Piva, to Traccia and Raysun, the sculptural elements designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Caleido’s signature radiators dress up with new vibrations and imprint an even more significant figure on any room.
The new colours bring alternative points of view and new design inspirations around the iconic models created by Caleido Lab, the company’s in-house research centre, which has signed the unmistakable lines of bestsellers such as the Dinamo and Caesar towel warmers, together with best-selling radiators such as Colibrì, Cardellino, Cigno, Italo, Regolo, Condor and Tower: each of these models represents the meeting point between the strength of Caleido’s heritage and know-how and the drive towards the future of an unmistakable palette of decisive and refined colours with an expressly décor taste.
Caleido presented a preview of the Caleido Portraits project at Cersaie, a gallery of video-portraits illustrating the vision of the international designers it has collaborated with and the production processes that have made it a symbol of Italian excellence. The aim has always been to go beyond the conception of the radiator as a simple heating component, to transform it into a prominent element in the construction of interior design.
