Milan, NoLo area, following an innovative renovation, the historic Hotel Concorde takes on a new life under the guidance of Studio Mamo. An innovative project that wanted to maintain the historical origin of the hotel but looked forward to a sustainable project for the environment and in step with the contemporary needs of safety for customers. A place of interchange for business meetings and leisure vacations, as well as for the citizens of Milan with the opening of “The GreeneryRestaurant” for elegant private events. In four months the interior designers of Studio Mamo have coordinated a team of professionals who have made the structure safe for guests, thanks to modern sanitization systems, eco-sustainable, thanks to a technology that guarantees a decrease in harmful emissions and significant energy savings, and completely new in design.
The environmental issue that now lies at the heart of every sustainable architectural project aimed to reduce operating costs but also aims to drastically limit CO2 emissions. In detail, the work involved the sanitization of all environments with titanium dioxide technology, the sterilization of elevators with ultraviolet lamps Uv-C and the installation of a LED lighting system with Dali management, which allows a dedicated control of the lighting fixtures. The carpets and upholstery in the rooms and corridors have been replaced to give a more modern and minimalist look, the restaurant, bar and lobby have been redecorated and embellished with original design objects and furniture that give the rooms a new freshness, such as walls with vertical greenery and bioclimatic pergolas inside and outside. The “4-way” heating and cooling system thanks to which both hot and cold air can be delivered to different parts of the hotel according to the needs of the guests. Finally, the project has provided for the inclusion in the rooms of 50-inch smart TVs that, with Chrome Cast technology, allow guests to access all platforms from their cell phones. The project was the result of several collaborations that have given a highly competent and specialized added value:
Adtel took care of the IT and telephony part, the furniture was instead taken care of by Biscarini, CaporaliContract as interior contractor in charge, Idrotermica Generale took care of the total renovation of the sanitary water system and finally Moroso participated in the restyling of the Hotel Concorde characterizing with its eco-friendly design furniture and accessories. he NoLo district is the perfect backdrop for the new face of the Hotel Concorde. Its vibrant youthful and artistic environment gives guests the chance to immerse themselves in an area of Milan far from the tourist pressure of the city center. A developing environment, perfect for those who want to fully experience the city in its most urban areas and frequented by locals.
