Spazio Lenovo in Milano

Lenovo opens the first concept store in Europe, in Milan, Corso Matteotti 8/10.
In designing Spazio Lenovo, great attention has also been paid to environmental impact, starting from the design of the spaces and the materials used. The Spazio Lenovo project, entrusted to the award-winning Italian designer Alessandro Luciani, provides for the possibility of experimenting technology through exciting, experiential and immersive paths; design and colours aim to bring two approaches together.
The first talks about technology and the future, which take shape in an all-digital communication with reflections, writings, large screens and LED walls; the second talks about sustainability, in a setting that aims to shorten distances with the external environment thanks to the use of sustainable materials such as iron, glass, wood, and dichroic glass with its chromatic and reflective effects, which evokes the solar spectrum and its chromatic change throughout the day.
The setting is completed by 13 columns covered with stabilised vertical greenery that rise like trees.
Particular attention is also paid to the bistro, called Dove, located inside Spazio Lenovo, which invites you to sit down, have breakfast, lunch and aperitifs or work in complete relaxation.

I deeply believe in the now natural role that technology has taken on in our lives and how it can help us improve its quality: this is why I have tried to transform these two apparently antithetical universes into Spazio Lenovo to create a fluid, elegant environment in which the transition between green and metal becomes easy, immediate and functional, as in the sociality of a Greek agora. And at the same time, I wanted to create a common thread, shortening the distances between the external world, en plein air to be precise, and the more intimate world of interiors“, explains designer Alessandro Luciani.

Spazio Lenovo brings Lenovo’s vision to life in a physical space where visitors can come into contact with technology and discover how IT can improve the lives of people and companies, helping to improve society starting from the products we use in our daily lives. Visitors will be welcomed into the concept store by Lenovo’s brand ambassadors who will discreetly accompany them through the Lenovo Space, offering product demos on request and possibly handling payments through mobile apps.
The physical concept store experience is complemented and integrated by the dedicated online platform Spaziolenovo.com, available in Italian and English, where users can create their own personal profile through which they can subscribe to events and workshops or, simply, to receive the newsletter and communications from Lenovo.
By connecting to Spaziolenovo.com it is possible to keep up to date with appointments at Spazio Lenovo, make an appointment for assistance, consult the bistro menu and book a table, or simply take a virtual tour.

From Wednesday 16 September, Spazio Lenovo will be open to the public every day from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm and everyone will be able to experience a completely new cultural ecosystem dedicated to digital innovation, an environment that combines the experiential dimension of smarter technology with the opportunity to learn about new digital trends.
From October 1st it will also be possible to follow the first appointments, completely free of charge, both by invitation and in digital mode.
The SmarTalks (two Thursdays a month, from 7 pm), will be moderated by journalist Diletta Parlangeli and will allow participants to discuss a specific topic from the point of view of three guests: the first talks will be dedicated to education, artificial intelligence (15 October) and gaming (5 November) – the updated calendar will be available on spaziolenovo.com.
