San Lorenzo Headquarters

Elegance, taste and refinement: these are the stylistic codes of the new office building of the San Lorenzo shipyards in La Spezia.
The project involved the renovation of an old structure from the 1930s. The building, divided on three levels, on the ground floor houses the entrance, the reception, the waiting rooms, the offices for the commanders and the surveyors and part of the spaces for the site’s technicians.

On the first floor, in addition to the sales, managerial offices and meeting rooms, there is also a large area that houses the technical office.
On the second level, with a wonderful view of the gulf, there is a large showroom with a sample room, which can be divided into two smaller areas that can be made independent. The plan also includes the bureau offices with its secretarial offices, the sales offices, a guesthouse with two rooms and a kitchen for organising business lunches with customers.

At the centre of the building a new projecting element with a brass finish, which accentuates the entrance and highlights the constructive and technological knowledge as well as the quality of the shipyard.
