Panzeri, an Italian company engaged for 75 years in the production of lamps and lighting systems for architecture, is the promoter from May 2022 of the PANZERI CULTURE PROGRAM, a cycle of meetings organised throughout the two-year period 2022-2023 around the themes of light as a design subject.
The aim of the programme is to explore the various aspects of lighting design in both the architectural and artistic spheres, addressing its implications from the point of view of the use of space, environmental sustainability and its expressive potential also in the artistic field. The meetings focus on different aspects of the lighting project from time to time and cross paths with the protagonists of the project, investigating heterogeneous themes and sensitivities with a multidisciplinary approach.
The next talk entitled ‘Light and Matter‘ will be held on Thursday 15 June 2023 from 6.30 p.m. in Via Santa Cecilia 6 in Milan at the Listone Giordano Arena. Claudio Silvestrin, architect, will explore the relationship between light and architecture in his works. Simona Finessi will lead the conversation in dialogue with Marco Introini, photographer, and Giusy Gallina addressing the role and potential of light across different disciplines. Panzeri will offer his own contribution with a reflection on the role of light in architectural design and the impact of design and lighting choices on the wellbeing of human beings and the environment.
A moment of meeting and confrontation for all professionals and enthusiasts of the lighting project.
