During the last years in Colombia, a series of highways have been developed that seek to unify the country, characterized by a mountainous geography and difficult access.
A new type of infrastructure for communications and highway operations was presented to the Colombian state.
The proposal included multiplying the use of the CCO control and communications buildings with training rooms, a product collection center, a marketplace for regional products, an open-air cinema and sports fields, making the CCOs become places for the construction of community and improvement of the living conditions of the peasants of the region.
Work was done on 3 main fronts: the creation of rural jobs, compliance with environmental objectives and catalyzing better governance, through education, to stimulate inclusive and sustainable growth in the developing world.
The CCO is the result of the initiative of the road operator together with the architectural study, to integrate the connectivity needs of the government with the social and economic needs of the community.
Stimulating the economy and quality of life of peasants, by eliminating intermediaries in the sale of local products and generating jobs from training and visibility of the region.
