Multidot by Martinelli

Designed by Brian Sironi, Multidot offers a modern interpretation of the chandeliers of the past, bringing them up to date in terms of composition, expression and technology. The low-voltage electrical cables that compose it have been specifically designed to become the lamp’s structural, decorative and technological element, making it configurable according to one’s aesthetic and ambient needs.

Multidot is extremely flexible: each cable can be freely positioned in the space, generating infinite compositions. You can choose the number and length of the cables and the number of LED light spheres to attach to each one. Martinelli Luce has also developed a dedicated configurator for Multidot, a tool that allows you to visualise its customisation. Simple and intuitive to use, it is a support for architects and interior designers as well as end customers. It is available in two versions: Basic and Advanced. The Basic version offers four predefined configurations that can be modified by experimenting with cable length, number of spheres, catenary arrangement and room selection.

The Advanced version is for experienced users and offers additional options for customised compositions. Once the configuration is complete, you will receive a pdf of the composition created at your e-mail address containing the technical specifications, codes of the components used as well as the 3D file in OBJ format of the product, to be inserted in any design programme. All that remains is to start playing with light and be inspired by Multidot’s flexibility!
