Mountain refuge with contemporary design

DC|EF studio – Davide Conconi and Elisabetta Fulcheri Architetti Associati – signs the interior design project of a holiday flat located in Ponte di Legno, at the foot of the striking Tonale Pass. The project is based on a concept of elegant and enveloping space, within which the mountain language has been reinterpreted according to contemporary canons.

The architects have transformed a 120 square metre flat, set in a newly built panoramic residential context, revolutionising the original layout and imagining a more fluid and luminous environment that enhances the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
Wood imposes itself as the undisputed protagonist, enveloping the spaces with its natural beauty and warmth. The wall coverings, the fireplace area and the brushed oak floors create a cosy and refined atmosphere, in perfect mountain style.

Tonalite stone embellishes the fireplace area and the kitchen, adding a touch of rustic elegance. Its warm tones and unique veining blend harmoniously with the wood, creating a striking contrast.
In the bathrooms, Piasentina stone, with its soft texture and delicate colours, provides an atmosphere of quietness and relaxation.

Every detail has been meticulously cared for to create a refined and comfortable place. Skilful lighting, fabrics, furnishings and mountain-style decorations complete the harmony of the space, creating an intimate and cosy atmosphere.
The custom-made furniture, made with fine materials and refined finishes, blends perfectly with the architecture of the flat, enhancing the charm of the local tradition.

The end result is an authentic mountain retreat, where the charm of tradition blends with comfort and modernity. An ideal place to regenerate and enjoy the unspoilt beauty of the mountains.
