The first private work built in anticipation of the 2026 Winter Olympics is in Livigno. The new headquarters of Mottolino Fun Mountain is a unique complex in Italy, inspired by models starting to appear in the United States or in neighbouring Austria. It is an important investment that projects Livigno towards the Olympic challenge, a unique opportunity for international visibility. Inside, in addition to the services related to skiing, rental, storage, ski school, shop, there are areas dedicated to smartworking and coworking and a gaming room, with the latest generation equipment. Mottolino Fun Mountain invests in the area, transforming the crisis of recent years into an opportunity.
Every detail has been conceived to make the flow of visitors smooth and fast and avoid the risk of queues. Customers enter a digitalised path, and at the same time are accompanied in their choices by the operators, who pay particular attention to the human and relational factor, making them feel “at home”. The result is a welcoming, lively place. All services can be booked online, on the website or via App. Today, the new lift station has been radically transformed: it is a reference point and meeting place not only for skiers, but for the whole community. In place of the previous access area to the cabins, a three-level complex has been created. This is the place for all activities related to skiing, the snow park and the slopes – and in summer for mountain biking.
On the first floor is the technological heart of the headquarters. In an area of 300 square metres is the Digital Cave, a clean and essential design room, bright and with a splendid view of the mountains, accessible via an escalator. Here there are rooms specially designed for smartworking, gaming and streaming. All these services can also be booked online. On the second floor is the new restaurant concept. The Kosmo Taste the Mountain – Livigno & AlpiNN restaurant offers food based on the Cook the Mountain ethical philosophy of Norbert Niederkofler, a three-Michelin-starred chef and star for sustainability. A project that as a whole aims to do justice to the Italian mountain scene after a period of great uncertainty in a prestigious occasion such as the Winter Olympics.
