In the charming, historical district of Modena, a 260 s.m, 19th century apartment was revived to embrace the design aesthetic of the 1940’s.
Focusing heavily on spacial reinterpretation the project renew the original layout, making the spaces harmonious, well connected and pervaded by light, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor transition to the balcony.
An arabesque marble fireplace and the characteristic use of wood, clean lines, and bold, expressive materials like travertine, red marbles and ceppo di Poltragno stone, creates mood and pays homage to the eclectic influences of the era.
The designer’s custom “Assolo” Murano chandeliers and “CP_58” daybed add current and glamorous elements to the residence, providing a sophisticated atmosphere.
The apartment embodies the sleek elegance of the 1940’s evoking surprise and clearly communicating the designer’s bespoke approach, while providing a functional and beautiful space for daily life.
