Minimal, rhythmic, adaptable: the new RAK Ceramics small formats for versatile proposals

Minimal, rhythmic, adaptable. Tiles in small formats are indispensable elements in the architectural design phase because they allow the designer or interior designer to imagine a fluid and dynamic space, characterised by bright colours. The fascination of the brick shape, as well as of the square shape and in general of small formats, has also influenced the recent production of RAK Ceramics, which, drawing on suggestions from traditional craftsmanship, mixes structured surfaces, textured and deep ‘raw’ effects, both glossy and matt, with colours that emphasise the small sizes of the tiles.
RAK Ceramics offers a range of versatile proposals in terms of shapes and sizes. Each element is pressed to the smallest possible size and worked with precision thanks to a new production process that combines industrial and handcrafted work. Marakkesh is a collection of full-body porcelain stoneware brics designed to provide infinite solutions to every design requirement. Subway, on the other hand, is a small boutique of complete collections: these are full-body porcelain stoneware brics in shades of white, grey, beige and black created to define modern, decidedly metropolitan environments. The Metro collection is reminiscent of the typical tiles of the exterior facades of 1970s buildings. The combination possibilities are many, from monochrome backgrounds to the use of several colour variants.
On the other hand, the Metamorfosi collection expresses itself in full colour, a lively and versatile proposal, able to offer maximum freedom of expression thanks to plays of contrasts or tone-on-tone harmonies.
