Not far from the city of Trieste lays the elegant seaside village, of which the main peculiarity is the karstic stone of Portopiccolo.
Here is where the luxury SPA designed by Studio Alberto Apostoli is built.
The proposed concept foresees the development of the structure on three different levels, adding a basement for parking and services, on an area of 3,600 square metres.
On the ground floor we will find the reception, a room dedicated to entertaining children, conference rooms, a hair saloon, a training pool, and changing rooms that allow access to the upper areas and swimming pools.
The main feature of this part of the structure lies in its “fan-shaped” colonnaded shape, with a stoneware floor in contrasting bands. The entrance and reception areas, on the other hand, are characterised by imposing “corten” portals.
On the first floor, the relaxation area that houses the in-out swimming pool has a large glass window that allows a fusion with the outside and the bay of Portopiccolo.
On this floor are arranged the gym, the personal trainers’ studios and the Cocoon bar with the adjacent refreshment area.
Here we can also find the conference room, a room developed in a modular way between exterior and interior thanks to walls with large windows that can be opened.
Finally, the top floor is completely reserved for the beauty SPA and the waiting room overlooking the sea. The perfect harmony with the outside environment makes the experience suggestive and exciting, unique in the region.
The whole project aims to emphasize the characteristic of the area overlooking the sea, using stones with natural colours alternating with the transparency of glass. The structure is thus lighter and more suited to the context of the gulf, offering a spectacular view.
