LEDRO is Victoria + Albert‘s new QUARRYCAST™ bathtub to meet the need for a luxurious experience without compromising on water consumption.
Victoria + Albert used its knowledge of bathroom ergonomics and material capabilities to create a water-efficient freestanding bathtub that followed the guidelines of BREEAM and the Unified Water Label.
The brand focused on achieving a shape that used only 180 litres with a full bathtub, equivalent to about 125 litres in normal use (with movement by an average bather). A slipper shape was therefore chosen: LEDRO is thus generously proportioned with a length of 1670 mm and a width of 705 mm at its widest point, which leaves ample room for the shoulders. The internal shape makes it comfortable to recline, while space has been removed at the bottom, leaving room for the knees to rest. None of these subtle refinements inside the tub affect the exterior design, which remains sleek and curved.
Ledro uses 30 per cent less water than Victoria + Albert’s compact Barcelona version and is made of Victoria + Albert’s unique material, QuarrycastTM, which is ideal for its durability.
Like all Victoria + Albert bathtubs, it benefits from a 25-year residential warranty. The combination of durability and low water consumption makes Ledro one of the most sustainable freestanding bathtubs on the market, ideal for both the hotel and residential sectors.
